School Gardens
We design and install gardens that bring learning to life. From food-growing beds and orchards to wildlife habitats and rainwater planters, our gardens are practical, inspiring spaces that support both education and wellbeing.
We often recommend three approaches for school gardens:
-
Food forests – layered plantings of fruit trees, shrubs, and herbs that are lower maintenance but abundant year after year.
-
Pollinator-friendly planting – flowers and herbs that bring colour and life to the playground while supporting bees and other wildlife.
-
Drought-tolerant plants – resilient planting schemes that can survive long summer holidays without constant watering.
Together, these approaches create school gardens that are productive, alive with biodiversity, and easy to care for.
